The T7Design M22 to AN10 oil cooler adapters have been meticulously engineered to feature a precisely sized O-Ring groove. This design element ensures the optimal level of compression for a secure seal while also allowing the adapter fitting to securely engage with the mating surface. It's worth noting that many M22 O-Ring adapters available on the market do not incorporate the correct O-Ring groove size. This can lead to the risk of over-tightening, exerting excessive stress on the O-Ring and causing the material to tear apart.
Our M22 to AN Male adapters are designed for use with parts that have a flat mating surface, as the O-Ring groove is entirely built into the fitting. Most parts have a flat seal face but its best to double check prior to purchase.
