Adjustable Oil Cooler Fan Switch AN10 Male-Male (40 - 140 °C)
To complement our range of Oil Cooler Fan Shrouds we now offer a fully adjustable fan switch available with either a Male-Male adapter or Male-Female. The Male-Male can be installed inline whereas the Male-Female can be bolted directly onto the outlet/return side of the oil cooler allowing for a very neat, space saving, installation. The adjustable oil cooler fan switch kit allows the user to operate an oil cooler fan to ensure engine or gearbox oil temperatures do not exceed a user set maximum threshold, the switch could also be used to activate a warning light so the driver can be warned of an oil overheat situation.
A small M3 screw in the centre of the switch is used to adjust the temperature set-point, clockwise raises the switch temp and anti-clockwise reduces it. The switch does not come pre-set and so it is recommended to use an oil temperature gauge to help set your switch-point. Once your desired set-point is determined it is recommended to use a small dab of paint to ensure the screw does not move under use and vibration.
The switch is of a single pole design and earths through the switch body, the inline hose adapters have an M5 blind hole drilled/tapped on one side which is used to provide a suitable earth/ground. Without an earth the switch will not function.

- Please note that the switch does not have the current capacity to handle a fan directly, this switch must be used to control the fan via a relay only.
- The fan switch is single pole only and must be earthed through the body of the adapter.
- It is recommended installing the fan switch on the outlet/return side of the oil cooler.
