Davies Craig GM LS Series Header Adapter Kit

The new Davies Craig GM LS Series EWP plug and play adaptor is designed for use in conjunction with EWP electric water pumps to replace your existing belt-driven, mechanical water pump on the GM LS Series engines. Further, if your belt-driven mechanical water pump has a mechanical fan, you will need to replace it with an Electric Radiator Fan. The kit also comes with a threaded heater hose adapter which will allow the heating system to operate just as with the OEM mechanical pump.

Removing your mechanical water pump offers many benefits including reduction in parasitic losses, weight reduction, superior thermal control, eliminates heat soak and tidies up the look of the engine bay.

This header adaptor plate is designed to fit in place of the original belt driven Mechanical Water Pump. Upon removing the Mechanical Water Pump, you will need to ensure that you have the correct sized belt (supplied) for reconfiguration.

The Davies, Craig EWP Header-Adaptor which is designed, in conjunction with an EWP Electric Water Pump Combo Kits (Part Nos. 8030, 8050 or 8070), to replace your existing belt-driven mechanical water pump on the LS Series V8 engine. Further, if your belt-driven, mechanical water pump has a mechanical fan, you will need to replace it with an Electric Radiator Fan. If you have purchased an EWP Combo Kit, then you will have an EWP/Fan Digital Controller with a built-in switch that will control the electric Fan in unison with your new EWP. It is recommended to opt for the largest Electric Radiator Fan that you can fit to your radiator.
