Our Gold Fabric Heat Barrier Sheet with Adhesive Backing is manufactured from woven silica fabric with a gold metalized polyamide polymer finish to offer superior heat protection for the most demanding applications.

The Gold Reflective Heat Barrier is non-flammable, offers great short-term flame protection, has excellent thermal insulation properties and is perfect for automotive applications to protect against heat soak for firewalls, bulkheads, fuel cells, intakes, engine covers etc.

• The Gold Reflective Heat Barrier is not stretchable, to conform to 3 dimensional surfaces you will need to cut and trim the product to fit smoothly.
• The Gold Reflective Heat Barrier is designed to reflect radiant heat and not designed to be in direct contact with the heat source, although the barrier can withstand up to 450°C direct the performance can be limited by the underlying adhesive backing which is only rated up to 175°C. If the barrier is in very close proximity or direct contact to the source, then please look at our non-adhesive heat protection products.
