Phillips & Temro Wolverine PAD Filter Heater 9 x 4" 100w 24v (CE)
3400145 Wolverine Silicone PAD Electric Filter Heater 9 x 4" 100w 24v
Flexible silicone pad heater that snuggly wraps around diesel fuel filters with a velcro wrap closure.
Operating in extreme conditions requires dependable solutions. Give your engine the help it needs to start in the coldest weather by installing silicone pad heaters. These heaters are designed to provide warmth to areas with fluid susceptible to freezing or thickening. Electric heating pads are designed to be applied directly to the source, resulting in direct heat transfer. They are a low wattage, energy efficient solution.

Two wires (same color) should be connected to the power source (or temperature control device) directly, through a junction box, or to a connector that is mated to a receptacle connected to the power source. Wolverine Heating PADS/Blankets are non-polarized, allowing either wire to be connected to the neutral or live. The third wire (if applicable), designated by the color green (or a green stripe), should be connected to ground.
Wire | Use | Notes |
2x Black | Neutral & Power | Not Polarity Sensitive |
CALCULATING FUSE SIZE: To calculate the correct fuse size it is recommended to add up the continuous current draw of all connected loads, multiply by 150% (x1.5) and then round up to the next available fuse size. For a heater with a 10a continuous current draw we would calculate: 10 x 1.5 = 15, the closest fuse size equal to or rounded up would be 15a. Please ensure the fuses are installed as close to the battery as possible.
CALCULATING CABLE SIZE: To determine your cable size it is recommended to choose a cable with a higher rated capacity than your calculated fuse, this will ensure that the fuse will blow before your wiring gets hot and potentially catches fire. From our example above, we would choose a cable size with a nominal current rating of at least 20a.
